How a basketball urn is made
Every urn is handmade by Greg in the Noosa Hinterland on Queensland's Sunshine Coast. Using our patented process, we build a hard, durable shell inside a real basketball. The ashes are held inside the ball itself, and it keeps the look and feel of the real thing.
Each urn is designed to hold a complete adult's ashes and sits on a handmade timber stand. You can add an engraved message to the stand and a perspex display case to protect the ball.

If their team isn't listed, or you have a ball that belonged to them, choose our Your Own Ball urn. We can turn almost any inflatable ball into an urn, including NBL, WNBA and college balls, or the ball from their local club.
We take great care with every ball. Very occasionally something goes wrong during the process, so if a ball can't be replaced, please talk to us before you send it.
