At Identity Urns, we understand that saying goodbye to a loved one is one of life’s most challenging moments. Our mission is to help you honour their memory in a way that truly reflects their passions and spirit. Generic vases and urns have their place but are not for everyone. We want to help you find the perfect memorial to honour the life passions of your football fan. A unique and personalised tribute to your loved one that represents how they lived life. Did they live for their sport? Which team did they passionately follow? We can transform any inflatable ball into an urn, designed to hold complete human ashes complete with a stunning handmade timber stand with the option of engraving your personal message.
Handmade in the Noosa Hinterland on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, this Australian family business has developed a unique production method to convert any inflatable ball into a perfect resting placed for your loved one’s ashes. Identity Urns have developed a patented process allowing them to manufacture a hard and durable internal coating so that the ashes can be placed INSIDE the ball, creating a solid and yet huggable memorial to celebrate your loved one's passion for their team. You can choose to add a perspex display case to your order which will keep your urn in top-notch condition.
You can provide a new ball - no need to inflate - or you may have a treasured ball that belonged to your loved one. Whilst we take every possible care in the manufacture of your urn, please understand there are the rare moments when something occurs during the process so we do ask that if your ball is irreplaceable that you consider this before sending your ball.

Questions families ask us most
How much ash can it hold?
Each urn holds approximately 3.8 litres — enough for the vast majority of adult cremated remains.
Can I use their own ball instead of a new one?
Yes — send us their preloved ball and we'll use the same process to turn it into their urn.
How are the ashes kept secure inside?
Each urn has a hardened internal chamber created by our patented resin-fill process, sealed with a fitted bung — built to hold ashes securely and permanently.
Can I actually display it, or does it need to stay packed away?
It's made to be displayed, held, even taken to the footy. The sealed chamber keeps the ashes secure no matter how it's kept.
Can we get it engraved with their name or a message?
Yes — choose optional engraving on the display stand at checkout to add a personal message.
How long does it take, and what about shipping?
Every urn is hand-made to order. Express orders are despatched within 2 business days and Standard orders within 5, then tracked to your door. In Australia, delivery is $20 Standard or $35 Express ($35 / $70 with a display case). For international orders, the cost is shown in your currency at checkout and all duties and taxes are paid by us. If anything arrives damaged or is lost in transit, we'll replace it, no questions asked. See full delivery details.
